Water Treatment
Municipal & industrial drinking water, RO pre-treatment, chlorine, taste and odor removal.
PT. Inari Berkah Sahaja produces and exports high-iodine, low-ash coconut shell activated carbon for water treatment, gold recovery, air & gas purification, and food-grade refining — batch-tested and container-ready for buyers worldwide.
Water utilities, gold processing plants, air-filtration manufacturers and food refiners don't choose activated carbon on price alone — they choose it on iodine value, hardness, ash content and mesh consistency, batch after batch. Inari Carbon is manufactured to hold those numbers steady, with documentation to prove it before the container ever leaves Indonesia.
Inari Carbon is the activated carbon manufacturing line of PT. Inari Berkah Sahaja, an Indonesian producer and exporter built on coconut-derived commodities. Working from a network of coconut shell charcoal suppliers across the archipelago, we carbonize, steam-activate, screen and pack activated carbon engineered for demanding industrial applications.
Every shipment is prepared for international buyers from day one — export-grade packaging, complete shipping documentation, and a production process built around consistency rather than one good batch.
Consistency is the actual product. Here is what we build every batch around.
A micropore-rich structure from coconut shell raw material gives an iodine number up to 1200 mg/g — among the highest achievable for this feedstock.
Iodine number, ash content, moisture and hardness are tested on every production batch, with a Certificate of Analysis issued per shipment.
Five standard mesh grades, 25kg bags or bulk jumbo bags, with OEM printing and custom specifications available on request.
Complete shipping documentation, container loading supervision and support for pre-shipment inspection by a third party of your choice.
Typical values for our standard export grade. Tighter tolerances are available for water treatment and gold recovery orders — ask for a grade-specific data sheet.
| Raw Material | Coconut shell charcoal |
| Activation Method | Steam activation |
| Iodine Number | 900 – 1200 mg/g |
| Ash Content | ≤ 5% |
| Moisture Content (as packed) | ≤ 5% |
| Hardness Number | ≥ 95% |
| Bulk Density | 0.45 – 0.55 g/cm³ |
| pH | 8 – 10 |
| Color | Black, odorless |
Packaging: 25 kg PP/PE woven bags, 500 kg or 1,000 kg jumbo bags, or custom OEM-printed packaging for private label orders. Values above are typical production averages; a Certificate of Analysis with tested figures accompanies every shipment.
The same microporous carbon structure performs differently depending on what it needs to adsorb — we grade and mesh accordingly.
Municipal & industrial drinking water, RO pre-treatment, chlorine, taste and odor removal.
CIP / CIL circuits — adsorbs the gold-cyanide complex, with hardness built for repeated elution cycles.
VOC removal, industrial exhaust treatment, and odor control for enclosed and process air systems.
Decolorization and purification for MSG, citric acid, sugar syrup and alcoholic beverages.
Coconut shell charcoal is sourced from carbonization partners across the Indonesian archipelago and inspected on arrival.
Shells are carbonized into raw charcoal, the base feedstock for every grade of activated carbon we produce.
Controlled high-temperature steam activation opens the microporous structure that gives the carbon its adsorption capacity.
Product is screened into mesh grades and tested for iodine number, ash, moisture and hardness before release.
Carbon is bagged to order, palletized, container-loaded and shipped FOB Jakarta or Tanjung Priok to ports worldwide.
A good sample is easy. A consistent container is the actual work. Our quality process is built to make sure what ships matches what was quoted.
Every shipment ships with a COA covering iodine number, ash content, moisture and hardness against the tested batch — not a generic spec sheet.
Sample-first orderingNew buyers are welcome to request a sample ahead of committing to a full container, so testing happens on your side before payment terms are discussed.
Third-party inspectionIf your process requires inspection by SGS, Sucofindo, Bureau Veritas or another surveyor, we'll coordinate container access on your inspector's schedule.
We handle export documentation end to end, so customs clearance on your side is a formality rather than a project.
Coconut shell carbon has a denser, predominantly microporous structure, which gives it a higher iodine number and hardness for its weight than most coal-based carbons. That makes it well suited to water treatment, gold recovery and applications where hardness under mechanical handling matters.
Standard export orders start at one 20ft container. Smaller trial or sample quantities can be arranged separately for buyers testing the product before committing to a full container.
Yes. Every shipment is accompanied by a COA showing iodine number, ash content, moisture and hardness for the specific batch being shipped.
Our standard range covers 4×8, 6×12, 8×16, 8×30 and 12×40 mesh. Other gradations can be discussed depending on your application and order volume.
Yes. Beyond our standard 25kg bags and jumbo bags, we accommodate custom printed packaging and labeling for private label export orders.
We ship FOB from Tanjung Priok or Jakarta as standard, with CIF quotations available on request depending on destination port.
Yes — new buyers are encouraged to request a sample for independent testing before committing to a container-size order.
The faster we understand what you're treating and how much you need, the faster we can quote a mesh grade and price that actually fits — send us the brief and we'll come back with numbers, not a template.
